1. Sediakan pelajar untuk menjadi pencari pengetahuan mendalam dalam memahami dan mengajar bahasa Arab.
2. Membangunkan kemahiran bahasa pelajar serta teks sastera untuk membolehkan mereka memahami sumber-sumber Bahasa Islam dan Bahasa Arab.
3. Pembangunan graduan berkomunikasi dan kebolehan bahasa kebudayaan dan kebolehan.
4. Melengkapkan para pelajar dengan keupayaan untuk mengenali keindahan bahasa dan untuk merasai pengeluaran kesusasteraan kreatif.

Graduate from this program have the opportunity in various field. Such as, teaching, journalism, publishing, editing, writing, diplomacy, foreign affairs, politics, translation & interpretation,   corporate communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, tourism, hospitality and leisure industries, and various possibilities in either the public or private sector.

ON CAMPUS

1. Passed Malaysian High School Certificate (STPM) / Malaysian Higher Certificate of Religion (STAM) / A-Level obtaining at least a full Pass in two (2) subjects including Arabic Language or equivalent with a CGPA of 2.00 / Passed the relevant Foundation / Matriculation; or
2. Graduated Diploma in related fields; or
3. Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia; and Passed the Shahadah Thanawiyyah Ammah examination.

ONLINE

1. Full pass in 2 subjects including Arabic Language in Malaysian High School Certificate (STPM); or
2. A-Level ; or
3. Malaysian High School Certificate (STPM) ; or
4. Diploma / Foundation in the relevant field which have earned the Minimum Standards from MQA or other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia.

Arabic Language Requirements:

Candidates who wish to enter a program which medium of instruction is Arabic Language, must pass MEDIU’s Arabic Placement Test (MAPT) or equivalent. Exemptions will be granted subject to the University Senate’s approval based on situations.
