
Associate Professor Dr. Elsayed Mohamed Salem Elawadi is an Associate Professor of Arabic Language (Literature, Criticism, and Rhetoric) and a researcher in Qur’anic Studies, Applied Linguistics, and Arabic Language Teaching for Non-Native Speakers. He earned his Ph.D. from Universiti Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (Brunei, 2014), his M.A. from the same university (2011), and his B.A. from the Faculty of Dar Al-Ulum, Cairo University.
He has over 25 years of academic experience at universities and educational institutions in Egypt, Yemen, Jordan, Brunei, Malaysia, and the United States, holding various academic and administrative positions, including Head of the Arabic Language Department, Dean of Library Affairs, Deputy Dean of the College of Languages for Graduate Studies and Research, and Director of International Relations and Training.
He currently serves as an Associate Professor at the International City University, an international assessor for the QS World University Rankings, an advisor to the Malaysian Ministry of Education, and Vice President of the International Association of Islamic Literature.
